Whether it be a car, light or heavy commercial vehicle, Vmoves is uniquely positioned to offer both in-life, end of life inspection and movement of vehicles to their chosen destinations.
Vmoves is synonymous with delivering an excellent level of customer satisfaction, offering innovative products and services within the vehicle logistics, inspection, contact centre and information technology sectors.
We directly employ a professional in field work force of 150, offering zero tolerance, BVRLA or bespoke inspection and vehicle movement solutions. Vmoves recognises the different requirements of the automotive industry and operates within three strategic divisions, Fleet Car, Fleet Commercial and Fleet Intelligence.
Vmoves is continually driving environmental awareness and quality through its own business as well with the suppliers and customers it interacts with.
Quality is the corner stone of Vmoves operations. Auditing of our processes and in-field inspections helps us to identify opportunities for improvement and we provide training to both new and existing staff to ensure the continued accuracy and professionalism of our services.
To this end Vmoves is one of the first vehicle logistic operations to achieve both ISO 9001 (Quality) and ISO 14001 (Environment) accreditation and we are working towards ISO 18001, demonstrating our total commitment to safety in the workplace.
Vmoves strives to act as a responsible corporate citizen everywhere it operates. We support local charities and community projects and encourage and assist many of our staff who volunteer their time. Development of corporate and social responsibilities (CSR) is an area of key focus for the Vmoves management team.
Delivering The Best Service Possible
As an organisation that places quality of service at the heart of everything we do, ISO plays an integral part in the ongoing success of Vmoves. David O’Neill General Manager says “Certification allows you to understand what your business does in terms of focus. Once you have that in place you can improve on it and deliver ongoing quality management.”
Vmoves was one of the first vehicle logistic operations to achieve both ISO 9001 (Quality) and ISO 14001 (Environment) accreditation and we are delighted to announce that we have now successfully transitioned to the ISO 2015 standards

Accelerating CPC Training
Vmoves is working closely with drivers to ensure its Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) training is ahead of schedule.
We have set a target well ahead of the legal September 2014 deadline for completion and are looking for all of our 150 strong workforce to have completed their CPC training by April next year to avoid a last-minute rush and potentially spiralling tuition costs.
Dave Whyte, General Manager - Fleet Commercial at Vmoves commented: "The Driver CPC training hugely affects out business, and we think it's incredibly important we proactively look to get ahead of schedule. By being in contact with our drivers regularly we know exactly the progress we are making with Driver CPC s a company and what steps need to be taken next.
Vmoves Launch Vehicle Status Checking App
Vmoves, the UK's leading vehicle inspection, collection and delivery provider, has launched a smartphone application designed to rapidly speed up the process for fleet customers to check the status report on the inspection of their vehicles.
The app displays an instant receipt as well as photos of the vehicle and details on any potential damage within minutes of the inspection being signed off by Vmoves, reducing the need for hard copy paperwork and email receipts.
The app will be of particular use to fleet managers with a high volume of vehicles. Rather than looking through multiple emails or keeping hard copy receipts on file, they can access each inspection when required through the app.

We are pleased to introduce our buddies to you – Bryan William, Dave Arnold and Michael Rodway.
The new buddies act as a support/mentor for our new Inspectors out in the field. They provide practical support and guidance on any aspect of the new Inspectors role, in a live working environment. This enables our new Inspectors to gain confidence in their abilities and to receive valuable support and knowledge from an experienced infield Inspector.
In addition to mentoring and coaching, the buddies will also carry out infield audits feeding back the results to Head Office for analysis. Michael Rodway has worked in our Commercial division and has been a trainer and coach throughout his career at Vmoves.
